Very busy day yesterday!

I had contacted photographer Andy Hoang, a little while ago, asking whether I could assist him on any future shoots. Sure enough he got back to me about helping out on a shoot he was doing for fashion headwear company FuudHoods.

So we met up in Stokes Croft and then went to the FuudHood studios, where their model was getting made-up and we picked out outfits. Then we walked to the unlikely location of a car park for the photoshoot. Up on the top floor we got a great view of the whole of Bristol, with the sun providing perfect back lighting.

I set up and adjusted lighting, took on the role of stylist, gave direction and also took some of the photos. It was a really great day ^w^

The model (who I didn’t catch the name of :c) was really lovely and the hoods are pretty epic.

I don’t drive so I cycle or walk everywhere, and yesterday involved lots of travelling. I ended up going between Hotwells, the City Centre, Stokes Croft, Park Row and Bower Ashton. Which in the sun especially, was quite a work out!

Unfortunately I had to leave the shoot early as I had a slot booked at uni, getting feedback on my essay before the hand in. That went well - I only have a few amendments to do. Still have my dissertation proposal to write this weekend though D:

Finally I came home to a bbq for dinner with my housemates and some uni friends. Very enjoyable :3
