I’m back in Birmingham for the Easter holidays, and so on tuesday me and mum took a little trip to our local arts centre MAC to check out what was on. At the moment the main attraction is a craft exhibition called Made In the Middle.

Whilst walking round one of the first things to catch my eye was this laser cut lino scene by Clare Willard:

It’s the view from my room in Bristol! Kinda weird to see it in a gallery in Birmingham lol.

The show also features work by Jennifer Collier, an artist I’ve looked at before and whose work I love (and now have had chance to see in the flesh). Using paper as fabric she crafts amazing commonplace objects.
